Slag refers to the slag of iron-making blast furnaces. In the state of high-temperature melting, it becomes granulated and foamy through rapid cooling with water, milky white in color. It is lightweight, brittle, porous, and easy to be ground into fine powder. It is a soft material for foamed silicate building products, slag sound-absorbing bricks, insulation layers, and water-absorbing layers.
